these changes were generated with nixq 0.0.2, by running

two mentions of the mdDoc function remain in nixos/, both of which
are inside of comments.
Since lib.mdDoc is already defined as just id, this commit is a no-op as
far as Nix (and the built manual) is concerned.
There was a bug in the pam_mount module that crypt mount options were
not passed to the mount.crypt command. This is now fixed and
additionally, a cryptMountOptions NixOS option is added to define mount
options that should apply to all crypt mounts.
Fixes#230920
make (almost) all links appear on only a single line, with no
unnecessary whitespace, using double quotes for attributes. this lets us
automatically convert them to markdown easily.
the few remaining links are extremely long link in a gnome module, we'll
come back to those at a later date.
the conversion procedure is simple:
- find all things that look like options, ie calls to either `mkOption`
or `lib.mkOption` that take an attrset. remember the attrset as the
option
- for all options, find a `description` attribute who's value is not a
call to `mdDoc` or `lib.mdDoc`
- textually convert the entire value of the attribute to MD with a few
simple regexes (the set from mdize-module.sh)
- if the change produced a change in the manual output, discard
- if the change kept the manual unchanged, add some text to the
description to make sure we've actually found an option. if the
manual changes this time, keep the converted description
this procedure converts 80% of nixos options to markdown. around 2000
options remain to be inspected, but most of those fail the "does not
change the manual output check": currently the MD conversion process
does not faithfully convert docbook tags like <code> and <package>, so
any option using such tags will not be converted at all.
This attribute is a generalized version of cryptHomeLuks for creating an
entry in /etc/security/pam_mount.conf.xml. It lets the configuration
control all the attributes of the <volume> entry, instead of just the
path. The default path remains the value of cryptHomeLuks, for
compatibility.
Change order of pam_mount.conf.xml so that users can override the preset configs.
My use case is to mount a gocryptfs (a fuse program) volume. I can not do that in current order.
Because even if I change the `<fusermount>` and `<fuserumount>` by add below to extraVolumes
```
<fusemount>${pkgs.fuse}/bin/mount.fuse %(VOLUME) %(MNTPT) "%(before=\"-o \" OPTIONS)"</fusemount>
<fuseumount>${pkgs.fuse}/bin/fusermount -u %(MNTPT)</fuseumount>
```
mount.fuse still does not work because it can not find `fusermount`. pam_mount will told stat /bin/fusermount failed.
Fine, I can add a `<path>` section to extraVolumes
```
<path>${pkgs.fuse}/bin:${pkgs.coreutils}/bin:${pkgs.utillinux}/bin</path>
```
but then the `<path>` section is overridden by the hardcoded `<path>${pkgs.utillinux}/bin</path>` below. So it still does not work.
