Captialize meta.description of all packages
...
In line with the Nixpkgs manual.
A mechanical change, done with this command:
find pkgs -name "*.nix" | \
while read f; do \
sed -e 's/description\s*=\s*"\([a-z]\)/description = "\u\1/' -i "$f"; \
done
I manually skipped some:
* Descriptions starting with an abbreviation, a user name or package name
* Frequently generated expressions (haskell-packages.nix)

videolan.org sources: prefer http://get.videolan.org
...
Some of the original URLs were broken now.
It seems that set of mirrors is preferred and faster than the others.
In the x264 case the source isn't there so http://download.videolan.org
is used instead.

x264: Add option to encode videos as bit depth 10
...
At compile time libx264 must be configured to encode videos in either 8
bit depth or 10 bit depth. It is not possible to compile libx264 to
support both bit depths simultaneously. This exposes the bit depth
compile option.
